Can it really be that the days are getting milder? With this pleasant feeling of warmth, it is without doubt an ideal time to try new things, creating floral delights from mixed media.
There is something very comforting in the upsurge of all things vintage, for it is this, that I truly love. The softness of colours, the prettiness of fabrics and the homely feeling that vintage items seem to exude. I have been creating many vintage inspired pieces of late, and have had an absolute ball. New to Fuzzpot Lane are corsages, neck warmers and posies and upcycled hats festooned in colour....
Lydia, my oldest daughter, featured above, shows off beautifully the 1920’s inspired Flopsy hat which I made earlier in the week. This particular hat was loosely based on a wonderful ‘Garden Hat’ pattern by Lisa Cruse, which can be purchased from her website www.lisacruse.com
And so to the Fuzzpottery, where I shall be creating new things to share really soon....
